“influencing action through conversation”

PGT Connections LLC (PGT) is a web-based company that provides professional advancement and educational services to students and young adults. PGT is a for-profit company with a social purpose to address soci-economic, educational and professional development needs in the Greater Philadelphia community. What makes PGT unique is its use of social media, email and other web-based applications to virtually connect students and young adults to its services.

Through facilitated conversation on the website’s blogs and social media networks, students and young adults are given a platform to speak out on issues that are relevant to them with guidance from an extensive network of professionals and their peers who share their experiences and perspectives on a wide range of topics.

PGT Connections LLC mission is to influence action through conversation; using the principals of effective communication and building connections with positive role models, students and young adults will learn to make better decisions. PGT believes that using the tools of effective communication will reduce violent altercations, increase chances of professional success and help build healthier relationships personally, professionally and academically. Through effective communication our network of professionals are able to reach out and help our clients refocus on what is truly important to their success; establishing and achieving their goals, developing respect and high standards for themselves and becoming caring individuals for their communities, schools and families.
